Promotional Terms

These Promotional Terms apply to promotional offers, discounts, free shipping offers, and other promotional benefits made available by Puptandem through puptandem.com.
By participating in or redeeming any promotion, you agree to these Promotional Terms together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Return & Exchange Policy, Refund Policy, and other applicable policies.
1. 10% Off First Order
Customers who subscribe to our newsletter may receive a 10% discount on their first eligible order.
- The offer is available to customers making their first purchase from puptandem.com.
• Newsletter subscription may be required before the promotional discount or promotional code is issued.
• The offer is limited to one redemption per customer.
• The discount applies to eligible merchandise only and does not apply to shipping charges, taxes, duties, or other fees.
• The discount must be applied before the order is completed and cannot normally be added after payment has been submitted.
• Where a promotional code is provided, customers must enter the code correctly during checkout.
• The offer has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or store credit.
• Multiple email addresses, accounts, names, or payment methods may not be used to obtain the first-order discount repeatedly.
• Orders reasonably identified as promotional abuse may be cancelled and the promotional benefit withdrawn.
• Unless otherwise stated, the 10% first-order discount cannot be combined with another percentage-off, fixed-amount discount, or coupon code.
Free shipping may still apply together with the 10% discount if the final qualifying merchandise subtotal continues to meet the applicable free shipping threshold.
2. Free Shipping on U.S. Orders Over $100
Eligible orders shipped within the United States qualify for free standard shipping when the qualifying merchandise subtotal exceeds $100.
- The $100 threshold is calculated after promotional discounts have been applied.
• Taxes, shipping charges, duties, gift cards, and other non-merchandise charges do not count toward the threshold.
• The final qualifying subtotal displayed during checkout determines eligibility.
• Free shipping applies to eligible standard shipping services only.
• Expedited, express, priority, oversized, remote-area, or special delivery services may require an additional charge.
• Certain products or destinations may be excluded where special handling or carrier surcharges apply.
• If a discount reduces the merchandise subtotal below $100, free shipping may no longer apply.
3. Free Shipping on International Orders Over $200
Eligible international orders qualify for free standard shipping when the qualifying merchandise subtotal exceeds $200.
- The $200 threshold is calculated after promotional discounts have been applied.
• Taxes, duties, customs charges, shipping fees, gift cards, and other non-merchandise charges do not count toward the threshold.
• Free shipping applies only to eligible destinations and shipping methods supported by Puptandem.
• Free international shipping does not include customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage charges, or similar governmental fees unless checkout specifically states otherwise.
• Remote-area surcharges, oversized parcel fees, special handling fees, or other carrier charges may not be included.
• Expedited or express shipping is excluded unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Free Shipping Threshold Calculation
Free shipping eligibility is determined using the qualifying merchandise subtotal after discounts and promotional reductions have been applied, but before taxes and shipping charges are added.
For example, if an order totals $110 before a discount and the discount reduces the qualifying merchandise subtotal below $100, the order may no longer qualify for U.S. free shipping.
The final amount and shipping eligibility displayed during checkout will determine whether the order qualifies.
5. Combining Promotions
Unless otherwise specifically stated:
- Only one promotional or coupon code may be used per order.
• Percentage discounts cannot normally be combined with other percentage discounts.
• Fixed-amount discounts cannot normally be combined with another promotional code.
• Promotional benefits cannot be combined in a way that circumvents the stated conditions of an offer.
• Automatic free shipping may be combined with an eligible merchandise discount if the discounted merchandise subtotal still meets the applicable free shipping threshold.
If multiple promotions are potentially available, the checkout system will determine which promotions can be applied together.
6. Returns on Promotional Orders
Products purchased using promotional discounts remain subject to our applicable Return & Exchange Policy and Refund Policy.
Refunds are generally calculated based on the actual amount paid for the returned product after applicable discounts, rather than the original retail price.
If an order-level discount applies to multiple products, the discount may be allocated proportionally across those products when calculating a refund.
Promotional discounts have no separate cash value and cannot be refunded as cash or store credit unless otherwise required by applicable law.
7. Returns Affecting Free Shipping
If an order originally qualified for free shipping and products are subsequently returned, causing the retained merchandise subtotal to fall below the original free shipping threshold, Puptandem may deduct the original standard shipping cost from the refund where permitted by applicable law and our Return & Exchange Policy.
This does not apply where the return results from an incorrect, damaged, defective, or otherwise qualifying product issue for which Puptandem is responsible.
8. Partial Returns and Discount Recalculation
Where a promotion depends on a minimum order value, quantity, product combination, or other purchase condition, a partial return may affect the promotional benefit originally received.
Any refund will be based on the amount actually paid and may be recalculated to reflect the promotional conditions remaining after the return.
Customers will not receive a refund exceeding the amount actually paid for the returned merchandise.
9. Order Cancellations
If an order using a promotional offer is cancelled, the associated discount or promotional code may not automatically become available again.
Whether a promotion can be reused depends on its availability, expiration date, redemption limits, and applicable promotional conditions.
Cancellation of an order does not guarantee that the same product price, discount, or shipping offer will remain available for a replacement order.
10. Promotion Eligibility and Abuse
Promotions are intended for genuine retail customers unless otherwise expressly stated.
Puptandem reserves the right to reject, review, or cancel orders associated with suspected promotional abuse, including:
- Creating multiple accounts to repeatedly obtain first-order discounts.
• Using multiple email addresses to obtain the same new-customer benefit.
• Attempting to circumvent promotional usage limits.
• Unauthorized or automated use of promotional codes.
• Manipulation of checkout, pricing, discount codes, or website functionality.
• Other activity reasonably considered inconsistent with the intended purpose of the promotion.
Where appropriate, affected orders may be cancelled and eligible payments refunded.
11. Promotional Codes
Promotional codes must be entered correctly and successfully applied before checkout is completed.
A promotional code may fail to apply because:
- The promotion has expired.
• The redemption limit has been reached.
• The customer or order is not eligible.
• The minimum purchase requirement has not been satisfied.
• Certain products are excluded.
• Another incompatible promotion is already being used.
• The code has already been redeemed.
Promotional codes obtained from unauthorized third-party sources do not guarantee eligibility.
12. Currency and Promotional Thresholds
Where prices are displayed in currencies other than U.S. dollars, promotional thresholds may be converted into the applicable supported currency.
Currency conversion, exchange rates, and rounding may cause minor differences in displayed amounts.
Promotion eligibility is determined by the final amount recognized by our checkout system at the time the order is placed.
13. Taxes, Duties, and Other Charges
Unless specifically stated otherwise, promotions and free shipping offers do not reduce or eliminate:
- Sales tax.
• VAT.
• Import duties.
• Customs charges.
• Brokerage fees.
• Payment-related charges.
• Other government or third-party fees.
These charges may be calculated separately from the qualifying merchandise subtotal.
14. Pricing and Technical Errors
Puptandem makes reasonable efforts to ensure that promotional information, discount percentages, prices, and checkout calculations are accurate.
However, promotions may not be honored where an obvious typographical, technical, pricing, system, or configuration error has occurred.
Where an error affects an order, Puptandem may contact the customer with corrected information or cancel the affected order and issue an appropriate refund.
Nothing in this section limits rights available to consumers under applicable law.
15. Promotion Availability
Unless a specific expiration date is stated, promotional offers may be available for a limited or unspecified period.
Puptandem reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, replace, or discontinue promotions where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
Changes will not normally affect eligible orders validly completed before the change takes effect.
Adding a product to a shopping cart does not reserve a promotional price, discount, inventory, or free shipping offer. Eligibility is determined when checkout is completed.
16. Product Availability
All promotional offers are subject to product availability.
A promotion does not guarantee the availability of a particular product, size, color, variation, or quantity.
If a promotional product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the affected portion of the order may be cancelled and refunded in accordance with our applicable policies.
17. No Cash Alternative
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Promotional codes have no cash value.
• Free shipping offers have no cash value.
• Unused promotional value will not be paid in cash.
• Promotional benefits may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
• Customers are not entitled to receive the monetary value of an unused promotion.
18. Conflicts Between Promotional Terms
Individual promotions may include additional conditions displayed on a banner, email, promotional page, product page, or checkout page.
Where specific promotional conditions conflict with these general Promotional Terms, the specific conditions displayed for that promotion will apply to the extent of the conflict.
19. Changes to These Promotional Terms
Puptandem may update these Promotional Terms from time to time to reflect changes to promotions, business practices, website functionality, or applicable requirements.
The version published on puptandem.com at the time an eligible order is placed will generally apply to that order.
The Effective Date above indicates when these Promotional Terms were most recently updated.
